Job Description:
Based in the Midlands our client is a long established Print / Print Management organisation offering a totally integrated and time critical solution to an enviable portfolio of customers. Due to growth within the business, they currently seek a Sales Director with a solid background from within the Print Management arena. They are looking for someone to take charge of the current, highly successful sales and accounts teams, and take the business to the next stage in their evolution. Targeting contracts in the region of £100,000-£1,000,000, however this is a guideline and can be stretched either way. You will be responsible for the strategic direction of the group, managing a number of junior and senior personnel to deliver on a day-to-day sales operational level, whilst ensuring revenue and profitability of all accounts is maintained. You will head up a dedicated team, both internal and external across the country. This role will involve UK travel, including presentations, tenders and direct sales pitches to senior level directors. Candidates will have a good understanding and experience of managing multiple, complex client relationships. You will have a demonstrable track record in major client management, people management, sales and strategic development. Experience of tenders, high end direct sales, and implementing contracts is also a pre-requisite. The successful individual must be able to demonstrate a strong presence of winning, developing & maintaining business at the highest level, as this role does carry an active element of new business sales. You will be expected to generate your own profitable revenue streams as well as host regular sales meetings and formulate new business initiatives, to drive the sales function forward and increase turnover and profit. This role calls for an individual who can motivate a small/medium sized team, and works by example, and as such you will possess focus, drive, ambition, determination and solid career stability. Excellent communication and motivational skills are paramount, as is the necessary gravitas and presence to inspire respect and results.
