Position: Sales Director - Publishing Solutions/I.T./BPO/Print Management/Digital Asset Management/Process Flow Management/Content ManagementLocation: Home-Based covering the whole of the UKSalary: c.£75k + bonus + fantastic benefits packageThe Company:Our client is one of the most respected printers in the UK with a diverse product range and an enviable high profile client list. With print capabilities spanning digital, sheet-fed and heat-set web they are currently looking to appoint a senior level Business Development Director in its newly formed Publishing Services Division.Requirements:• In-depth knowledge of the Publishing sector essential• Board level communication skills essential• Proven track record in consultative, concept driven sales role• Print related I.T./Systems knowledge an advantage• Superior business analysis skills in order to assess complex customer requirements• Create business specifications using appropriate publishing parlance• Ability to design large bespoke systems• Exposure and success in tender processesThe Role:This new and exciting concept is a consultative sales and development role bringing a fresh and innovative solution to the Publishing sector. Targeting publishers of magazines, books and academic journals, candidates will design and build bespoke solutions which centre around page building and content management. Solutions will include, but not restricted to, Content Management Software, Process Flow Management, Digital Asset Management, Warehousing and Distribution, Print-on-Demand and Rights Management. This is not a solution into which clients must fit, but rather a consultative sales role involving auditing and developing existing technologies, understanding the concept and then taking it to market.
