Job Description:
Summary of Position:
  • By management of the operational team, to understand and control the total cost to do business and identify opportunities for revenue/margin improvement.
  • To closely manage the detail of service delivery as defined by SLA’s and Service Excellence. To escalate any significant opportunities or risks.
  • To encourage by example an open culture of understanding of client need and task ownership.
  • To maximise the positive experience for the client.
Accountabilities:
·         Financial: To own the day to day costs of the assigned services and sites
·         To review with the CSM revenue and costs on a monthly basis as the basis for tactical action to maintain margins
·         Operational Performance: To drive the day to day delivery of  the client contract through effective management of people and services
  • To reinforce and deliver Service Excellence objectives
  • To work with the CSM on the identification of development opportunities that will result in the achievement of the annual growth targets
  • Staff Engagement: To provide training to direct reports and staff to ensure that that they have the appropriate skills and technical expertise  to deliver operational performance
  • To set performance objectives for staff and manage delivery against them, identifying and addressing issues in a timely fashion
  • Customer Engagement: To identify local client relationships at site level and build those relationships in order to maintain customer satisfaction
  • To effectively manage the clients’ expectations, taking ownership at a local level and manage internal escalation when required

 

Business Knowledge/Educational Background:
  • Operational Supervisory experience in an outsourced environment
  • Experience of building and development of client relationships
  • People management experience – coaching, training, recruitment, induction
  • TUPE law, quality, health and safety and employment legislation
  • Minimum A level standard education
  • Good planning and organising skills
  • Flexible working approach
  • Interpersonal/ client facing skills
