Job Description:
Minotaur Group PLC have recently invested in an HP Indigo 7000 digital press which has been installed and is now producing commercial jobs on a single day shift.To bolster our capacity, we are now looking to introduce a split shift pattern with the two shifts initially crossing over with the operators assisting in digital finishing however as the volume of work increases these shifts will spread to become a double day shift. As volumes increase further still we will either introduce a permanent night shift or move to a 24 hour continental work pattern. We are now looking to recruit an experienced Indigo operator to join our quickly growing team. Ideally you will have at least level 1 training on a 5000 series press as we will send you to Barcelona for level 1 training on the 7000 press once you have demonstrated reasonable familiarity and capability with Indigo technology. Operators with 7000 Exposure are also welcome to apply and will be able to continue their development on the 7000-Series. Jobs range from single sheets through to short run, multi page catalogues of up to 50,000 4 colour impressions so workload is generally varied. With a number of new revenue streams now coming on-line, we are expectant of rapid growth and require those who have an eye for quality and detail plus are able to demonstrate the enthusiasm and flexibilty required when working as part of a small team in a rapidly growing part of a bigger business. In addition to running the digital press we also offer the opportunity for operators to become involved in our specialist digital finishing department consisting of Duplo UV varnishing, PUR binding, creasing & folding and booklet making, Polar guillotining, Renz wire-o punching & binding and a range of smaller machines for case binding, laminating, hot glue binding and the like.
