Job Description:
Our client is a leading supplier of print and print facilities management in the West Yorkshire area, serving local and national companies alike with both project based print jobs and total print management services. This growing company are looking to recruit a Prepress Studio Manager to join their already experienced successful team. The Role: The role of Studio Manager encompasses a number of very important tasks and skills which are critical to the smooth running of the manufacturing facility. Heading up a team of 5 prepress operatives, you will be responsible for delegating work to the team who prepare materials for the press to customer specifications. Organisation and time management skills are key in this role as the usual critical print deadlines must be met. As technology advances occur you will be responsible for recognising where new software/hardware needs implementing and organise the smooth transition to new technologies. You will be responsible for evaluating performance of studio staff and ensuring optimum performance of studio members. The Person: Coming from a prepress background you will have gained an all round hands on working knowledge of prepress and print in a repro studio environment. You will have excellent customer service communication skills and be equally comfortable liaising with other internal and external departments and suppliers.
